Concept of Colour Theory
- Principles of colour
- Effects of colour blending
- Emotional, cultural, and situational aspects of colour application
- Apply colour tones, contrast, matching, and dominance through various design themes
Acrylic Painting Techniques
- Master using palette knives, paintbrushes, and other art materials
- Paint in multiple layers to create a better artwork
- Experiment and create different textures with everyday objects
- Understand the science behind acrylic mediums, what they do, and how to use them correctly to make your colours more vibrant
Create Your Own Masterpiece
- Learn how to use fundamental techniques like the golden ratio and the rule of thirds to create balanced artworks
- Apply the techniques taught and start drawing and painting on a canvas

Is the course fee SkillsFuture Credits claimable?
Yes, learners may choose to use SkillsFuture Credit to pay for the course fees. SkillsFuture Credits are only eligible for Singaporeans above 25 years old.
Is this course NTUC UTAP claimable?
Yes! This course has been approved under the NTUC UTAP funding, and qualifying fees paid can be up to 50% reimbursed under your NTUC UTAP membership.

How long is the workshop, and what is the schedule like?
Our Colour Concept Application course is 3 days (22.45 hours) in duration and we have both weekday and weekend intakes available.
