In addition, you’ll explore Canva’s AI-powered Magic Studio features, generating captions, editing images, and creating visuals with just a prompt. You’ll also dive into Canva’s Visual Suite to collaborate on live projects using Docs, Whiteboards, and Presentations.

By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence to create a wide range of stunning visuals, including:

Social media posts, ads, and animated stories

This course is ideal for learners who already have some basic familiarity with Canva or design tools and want to go deeper into graphic design. If you’re completely new to Canva, we recommend starting with Canva for Social Media first.

Do I need a Canva Pro account to attend this course?

Yes, many of the tools and features taught in this course are exclusive to Canva Pro. However, Canva offers a 30-day free trial of Canva Pro, which you can sign up for before the course starts. This will give you full access to the premium features used during the workshop.

What’s the difference between this course and the “Canva for Social Media” course?

Canva for Social Media is a beginner-friendly course focused on creating engaging content like posts, stories, and videos using only the free features of Canva.
In contrast, Graphic Design with Canva Pro dives deeper into graphic design principles and professional-level design workflows. It also covers Canva Pro’s premium features — such as Brand Kit, Magic Studio AI tools, and the full Visual Suite, making it ideal for those looking to upskill in branding, marketing design, and layout creation.
